Pennsylvania's Child Care and Development Fund Quality Infant/Toddler Targeted Fund:
FY: 2008: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Targeted Funds allocation is $2,985,175.
FY: 2006: The Federal CCDF Infant and Toddler Targeted Funds allocation was $3,074,811.
According to the 2007-2009 CCDF State Plans, the funds are used in the following ways to enhance the Pennsylvania infant and toddler child care system (additional funds may be used to support these activities):
- The Keystone STARS Child CARE Quality Improvement program administered by six regional Keys (non-profit and local governmental entities) and one PA Key (local education agency).
- The early childhood professional development training system administered by six regional Keys (non-profit and local government entities) and one PA Key (local educational agency).
- Infant Mental Health consultation project administered by six regional Keys (non-profit and local governmental entities) and one PA Key (local educational agency).
- Mind-in-the-Making training program administered by six regional Keys (non-profit and local governmental entities) and one PA Key (local educational agency).
- Infant-Toddler Early Learning Standards and Assessment administered by the PA Key (local educational agency).
