New Mexico's Child Care and Development Fund Quality Infant/Toddler Targeted Fund:
FY: 2008: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Targeted Funds allocation is $888,286.
FY: 2006: The Federal CCDF Infant and Toddler Targeted Funds allocation was $907,524.
According to the 2007-2009 CCDF State Plans, the funds are used in the following ways to enhance the New Mexico infant and toddler child care system (additional funds may be used to support these activities).
- Continued support of a higher reimbursement rate for infant and toddlers.
- Continued support to pay an additional $75 per month to accredited programs that care for infants and toddlers.
- Continued funding to support participation of providers caring for infants and toddlers in AIM HIGH, which provides technical assistance and limited financial incentives for program improvement to support programs' work toward accreditation.
