New Jersey's Child Care and Development Fund Quality Infant/Toddler Targeted Fund:
FY: 2008: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Targeted Funds allocation is $1,696,261.
FY: 2006: The Federal CCDF Infant and Toddler Targeted Funds allocation was $1,806,572.
According to the 2007-2009 CCDF State Plans, the funds are used in the following ways to enhance the New Jersey infant and toddler child care system (additional funds may be used to support these activities):
- Child Care Health Consultants.
- First Steps Infant/Toddler Development Initiative, a statewide training and technical assistance system for child care providers serving infants and toddlers.
- Child Care Warm Line, a statewide health information and referral service to promote the healthy development of infants and young children in child care settings.
