New Hampshire's Child Care and Development Fund Quality Infant/Toddler Targeted Fund:
FY: 2008: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Targeted Funds allocation is $227,340.
FY: 2006: The Federal CCDF Infant and Toddler Targeted Funds allocation was $231,423.
According to the 2007-2009 CCDF State Plans, the funds are used in the following ways to enhance the New Hampshire infant and toddler child care system (additional funds may be used to support these activities).
- Continued support of the Infant/Toddler Task Force.
- Continued support of the center directors and infant/toddler leads Wheelock College's graduate seminar “Caring for Infants and Toddlers”.
- Continued support of Equipment grants of $4,000 to eligible participants of the Wheelock seminar to support improvement of environments after the course.
- Continued support of Infant and Toddler Curriculum Day that includes six hours of training on various curriculum topics geared to the birth to 3-year-old child and provides learning materials for infant and toddlers to each participant.
- Continued support of Scholarships for Infant/Toddler Caregivers to enroll in infant/toddler courses at the Community Technical Colleges and Granite State College (formerly known as the College for Lifelong Learning).
