Colorado's Child Care and Development Fund Quality Infant/Toddler Targeted Fund:

FY: 2008: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Targeted Funds allocation is $1,151,260.

FY: 2006: The Federal CCDF Infant and Toddler Targeted Funds allocation was $1,163,133.

According to the 2007-2009 CCDF State Plans, the funds are used in the following ways to enhance the Colorado child care system (additional funds may be used to support these activities), by providing continued support of the following:

  • Expanding Quality (EQ) in Infant/Toddler Care which includes training and TA to providers and trainers through
    • Touchpoints.
    • PITC.
    • Ounce Scale Assessment, which is associated with Results Matter work.
    • CO Core Knowledge and Competencies.
  • Quality expansion activities through the Consolidated Child Care Pilot communities.
  • Support the Infant/Toddler Specialist Network.
